"Stupidity, if left untreated, is self-correcting."
I think you meant Corinthian Leather, as a search for Corenthian Leather in Google told me. I remember the Ricardo Montalban Chrysler commercials well.
ÔÇ£Corinthian leatherÔÇØ was a meaningless term invented for the purpose, but has since come to designate leather with a vinyl surface treatment that requires little care"
"The director and advertising executives loved the way the actor Ricardo Montalban pronounced ÔÇ£CorinthianÔÇØ, and it did not bother them at all that there was no such thing as Corinthian leather. "
And you called your car a piece of crap?![]()

Here is my T500. The driveway shot shows the bike with clubman bars, expansion chambers and a GT550 disk brake front end. I was a regular Paul Dunstall eh? The other photo was taken on Rt 100 in VT,near Moss Glen falls.
This is the 1975 Z1B that replace my T500. More than any other bike I've owned, the Z1 delivered everything it promised. Back in 75, you could count on it being the fastest vehicle at any stoplight.
The thing about traveling is, you never want it to end and you can't wait to get home.

That's me on the left with the ice cold PBR. This was taken around 1979 in the married student ghetto (Pammel Court) at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. The bike is an original 1952 Panhead Harley with factory sidecar (first year of the foot shift Harleys). Notice the middle bike's seat. It was a slab of chromed steel with no padding, owned and ridden by my buddy who was known simply as "Roach". The third bike is a 1978 Superglide ridden by my brother in law. The foxy chick is my wife (now of 38 years marriage and still a fox).
We had a ton of fun back then and it's a miracle I am still alive. Much wiser and more sedate now (hey... I'm now a BMW guy..).
Me and "Roach" ...fellow veterans survivin' "in the world" post war.
