I knew BMW wasn't attending the shows this year but it just seems ironic considering the new models they're bringing to market right now. I can't think of better exposure to a broad market for the S1000RR than these shows. Even if BMW had the local dealers run a small display. I noticed the vendors that were there had smaller areas this year.
There were fewer vendors than previous years but consumer traffic seemed pretty heavy Saturday.
How's the economy in Cleveland?
Sure seems the Indians aren't expecting much.

They weren't at DC either. Ducati had an incredible spread, but mostly it was an aftermarket show. Battley's, one of the DC BMW Dealers, was there with the S1000RR, it seemed like a big hit with the "let's pull wheelies at 90mph on the beltway" crowd.
Interesting, because they were at the Greenville IMS...Had a good display, including the new S1000RR to sit...

That was a local BMW dealer at the Greenville show. I was also there and talked with the sales mgr. Also met several of the guys from BMW that teach the rider schools in Greer, SC. Great guys! I signed up for March.
