if time permits i am going to get lost in the trinity alps and eventually toodle my way down to laguna seca.![]()
I am looking to head north to Alaska with anyone who wants to go there after the Redmond Rally. So I am looking for a companion to help plan and setup a ride to the north as far as Prudhoe Bay would be great!
Taking two days to get to Healdsburg, California - in the heart of Zinfandel Country - where I plan to stay for a couple of days to do some winery tours. From there, heading east... maybe TOTR, or straight home. Depends on how much money I have left at that point.

Sometimes it's the bend in the road that makes life worth the ride.
My soon to be wife and I plan to ride from des moines, ia to wisconsin where we will be RIDING down the isle to get married on July 10, and camping our way to Redmond for another incredible rally for our honey moon . From there our plans at the moment will be riding down the coast far into California and gradually making our way back thru Utah, Cannot WAIT!!
That's too funny...I am also riding from Des Moines, IA to Wisconsin to marry the man of my dreams on our motorcycles! For the FIRST ANNUAL McCULLOUGH RALLY (part one). Then we're riding off on our honeymoon to the MOA Rally, camping the ENTIRE trip. We'll have 7 full days AFTER the rally to head south through California (POI's: redwood/napa/yosemite/solvang) Arizona (grand canyon) and/or Nevada (Vegas, perhaps? what else is there in Nevada...we could get married again!?)and Utah (too many cool things to see in one trip, but hopefully Zion and Hell's Backbone Road) before we ride like hell to get back home to gear up for our BIG reception on July 31st where we're cooking all the food and smoking all our corn-fed pork and beef! If we happen to make your acquaintance at the Rally and you're interested in a Rally (part two) in Cumming, Iowa, there will be plenty of food and frivolity to be had...plus RALLY MUGS! Look for Rich and Tina with JUST MARRIED signs on our bikes.
Since I am riding to Redmond from Miami, after the event, I am planing to continue North to Canada. Too hot in the South. Anybody who wishes to join is welcome.
I think the Top of the Rockies Rally is the weekend after.
Jim
Don't know. Probably the Canadian Rockies for a while. The general plan is to wander the northwest before the rally and then after the rally. Lets just say somewhere west of the Mississippi river and north of the desert.

Looks like it will be the ra for me this year,as my son has moved to New Hampshire and the ralley is only a few hours from his place. Then maybe up to Prince Edward and down the coast. Ed
If you make it to the RA and on to PEI consider yourself cordially invited to join us at our Damn Yankees Rally the following weekend.
It's an old school rally held at one of the oldest active fairgrounds in New England.
No beds within miles, the Damn Yankees is definately not a hotel rally. Home cooked food, Saturday night BBQ by the local Fire Department, great roads, great people and our very own Scottish Trials.
Thanks for the invite Rob.Sounds like my kind of place. Will look you up if i make it. Ed
Please do.
I'm easy to find but if you have any trouble I'll be flipping pancakes Saturday morning.
We serve blueberry pancakes with real Maple Syrup from Goulds Sugar House and local sausage before sending everyone out riding for the day.
