If you haven't been out this way, the Bend/Redmond area is generally sunny, scenic, and gorgeous. _great_ riding throughout the Cascade Mtns. We get over to the "east side" a few times a year and it's always a treat. I was about to post some lodging recommendations for folks still considering where to stay. - Joe
