USA made leathers at a great price

I never hesitate to pass on a good thing when I find it. I stumbled on this new website that sells American made leather goods of high quality for a very good price. It's www.bikerleatherplus.com . The American items are clearly marked. I've ordered an couple of things already and am very pleased with the service as well as the products. I usually pay over $450 for a motorcycle jacket so to find a selection of buffalo hide jackets at under $100 was unbelieveable. Check it out if you get a chance.

Please don't think I'm dissing you but I would not, from what I have seen, want to even fall over in the driveway with it. They do not mention gage of material, zippers out or in on the jackets, armor (?), etc. About three years ago we imported, from Pakistan, a few jackets and race suits on spec..... still have two suits and three jackets left.... and you could slid a long time before the leather and armor gave way. Excellent stuff. Fashion leather does not work, although better than jeans and a t-shirt. All leather is not created equal! I wonder if all material and all labor is really U.S. based.

Again, please don't take it personal but compared to the stuff we imported it really seems low grade for the real world of riding. - Bob

I have two leather jackets I purchased new. My other jackets are high end leather I bought used, for say a third or so of new price. There is a lot of used out there. That said, some want new and this is an alternative to used. Thanks for posting.

Did you really stumble on this new website or is this the one your sister and brother in law own. After 3 pages of arguements and a thread closing at the BMW sport touring site I'm very surprised you would post here that the site was a random find. If you would just tell people that your sister owns this business and ask them to check it out people wouldn't be so upset about the deceit. Good luck to your sister and yourself but folks here deserve better.

If what Mike writes is true, you would do well to disclose that info.

I see no mis-representation by anyone here, just some info for folks to do with what they will. Rather than have this thread get folks all worked up, I am going to close it here.

Just a reminder that the BMWMOA does not endorse or support any products mentioned here. It is just a venue for members to post info about there own endeavors for others to see. As with any info on the net, do your research and make your own decision on what you see here.
