now that I can't make Redmond but do look forward to the RA, I wonder where next years MOA rally might be. - Bob

It is often announced at the Spring BOD meeting.

All of the contracts have to have been signed before it is announced.

Due to the rotation schedule, it will be in the East next year.

    COOL!

After a dayride messing around with curves in the French Lick area of southern Indiana, just a hop and a skip over to Bud's house for the barbecue and beer tent!

    Thanks Bud!

Nor would I, but the second time already happened in 2006. The first was in 1978.

New Hampshire, Massachusetts or Maine would be a choice I'd like to see.

About six acres overlooking the ocean. The Salty Fog Riders Rally in September will have to do for now but maybe 2015? Build it and they will come? - Bob

My vote is Meat Cove, but you would have to stake down the tents.

The Finger Lakes region upstate NY would be great. Great roads, scenery, food, etc. Watkins Glen, Lake Placid, and The Thousand Islands have much to offer in great scenery and excellant back roads. Ride Safe

Wish it could be in PA.

Wonder why it can't be in Lake Placid?

The rally rotation schedule is filled years ahead of time. For instance, the 2011 Rally site is already selected and contracts are being negotiated. Most likely the 2012 sites are being winnowed down or perhaps already selected.

There are specific requirements for a rally site to be accepted. If you have an idea for a location, you should forward it to the site selection committee for consideration.

One requirement, which makes many venues not acceptable, is that we are allowed to sell the beer. There are good reasons for that requirement, but it does eliminate some sites.
