I had no choice. I had to buy a 2012 RT after someone knocked my 2010 over in an Iowa parking lot, on the way the the RA Rally. So, after the insurance check arrived, I now have new tires, new brake pads, new everything, plus a new warranty. As I said, I had no choice.New bike2012 003.jpg

Even though I am only a 30" inseam, I am flat footed on this bike. Have a Bill Mayer saddle.
Missing 'riding' weather in cold Michigan!
My first bike can be found in this thread, post #13.
Here is my new bike. The hubby says I have to sell the /7 but he's got two bikes in the garage. Sometimes I have to remind him who's in charge.![]()

I love my 2009 F650GS! Here we are on the Canol Road, in Alaska.

800 miles later, I am just getting used to my lowered suspension 2013 R1200R (Anniversary Edition)! I swear, I feel like I'm riding a rocket in the morning: but I love it. Upgraded from a 2010 F650GS, which I truly miss, but this ride fulfills all my adrenaline needs.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
