    Lojack for bikes?

Anybody ever hear of Lojack being installed on a motorcycle? I've seen GPS-based recovery systems, but after reading the Lojack site I see they advertise it for cars and construction equipment but not motorcycles. The site does state it can be used in any vehicle since the unit itself is only the size of a deck of cards, but I was wondering if any of you all are using it or no another rider who is.

sorry to get slightly off topic, but i noticed your bike was found. is that a good thing? is it in good, ridable condition or was it trashed out?
maybe you could ask your insurance company about LoJack or the LoJack people directly??

Thanks for asking Cliff...it wasn't trashed out too bad. $1700 worth of fixin's, and that includes a new back tire. Basically, all that was busted were all the locks on the bike (main ignition, gas cap and seat lock), the right rear turn signal, a scuffed up right hand head cover, and a missing screw cap from the fork tube, etc. Rider Insurance paid the whole bill, including the tow/impound minus my $400 ded. The good thing is the Essex County prosecutor said I can seek restitution from the guy they arrested with the bike to cover my deductible. Too bad I lost my bike for a month, but it may end up not costing me any money at least. I'm hoping the guys at Cross County BMW in Metuchen finish her up this week--it's been a long 30 days so far!

PS I'm sure I can get Lojack for the bike--if they put it in const equip and cars than why not bikes, right? I was just checking to see if anybody had it installed already before I call the makers--I also asked my buddy who's a tech on BMW cars down in south Jersey--they install them at his dealership and that dealer is associated with Cherry Hill BMW (bike store), just down the road.
