"Of course we don't have to demonstrate our superiority. Particularly when the sports car drivers try to challenge us and pull off when the light is still yellow".
Quote from the film. Wonderful stuff. Dated. But wonderful. The safety comments are always applicable however.

Yes, but do you realize that in Germany, when the lights go from red to green, there is a brief period where the red and yellow lights are both on? It's kind of a heads-up warning to get your car in gear and get ready to go. It can be taken as jumping the green or like the christmas tree at the drag strip.

man, i really wish they'd have that here... along with a lot the other things that were in that vid... like lane filtering.

while that works in california, in georgia you'd get shot by some redneck or gangbanger if you tried that.

I'd like to hear the original German narration. I suspect the lines "Of course we don't have to demonstrate our superiority. Particularly when the sports car drivers try to challenge us and pull off when the light is still yellow", might have been, "You vill demonstrate your superiority at all times."

    Very cool retro stuff.

That was a very elegant move the guy in the red leathers made by spinning the bike around on the centerstand.

And when riding in groups -- four or five is enough

I sure like those bikes --- there were at least a couple of those parked at the vintage display in Johnson City that got my attention. Nice soundtrack, too.

i just want to be able to rotate my bike around like the guy does in the first video. i am quite confident i would drop the k11 on myself. that would not be ideal.

    It's easy.

You lean it right up against your hip and just spin it around.
