    service reminder reset

    Just got done doing my 6000mile service,change oil and filter, adjust valves, syn carbs. Put 6000 miles on my bike since 6/24/09! Now how do I reset the service reminder on the computer?

    Go see your local BMW Dealer.

    There's a chart that lists which models it supports here... http://www.gs911usa.com/gs-911-funct...art.php#models - scroll down until you see "Detailed support of models covered by GS-911"

    All of the R1200 models are listed the K1200 and your K1300 is now in Beta. It's my understanding the older model GS-911 can be firmware upgraded to enable the service reset functionality, so if you have an older one try the software update and see what you get.

    Yes, the GS911 with the new software will reset the service reminder to any date and milage you like.

    Now if it only made coffee I would be all set.
