Suggestions for a route from Quebec thru the Maritime Provinces?

Considering another visit to beautiful Canada next summer.

Always wanted to ride Quebec and visited some of the Maritime Provinces years ago on business and liked them. Can anyone suggest a route with points of interest?

    Thanks -

    Bryan

    Quebec/maritimes

Assuming Quebec city as a departure point,Rt 132 along south shore of the St Lawrence will provide u with a picturesque ride through small french canadian villages ie,St Jean Port Joli,Kamouraska,Notre dame du Portage ( Arts,Sculpture,Photography, great food ) and continuous views of the river & mountains on the north shore.Riviere du Loup & Rimouski are small cities with every convenience. At Mont Joli head to Campbellton in NB via the Matapedia River Valley. At this juncture pick up the 134 to Bathurst and Rt 11 which will take you through the French cultural (Acadiens) section of fishing villages in NB. The scenery here is spectacular.. Continue east to Shediac where you can take Confederation Bridge to PEI. If not, ride into Nova Scotia and head for the Cabot Trail, a must see on a sunny day. You can return to the US via the ferry at Yarmouth while riding along the ocean on senic byways. Many fishing villages here but Chester,Mahone Bay & Lunenberg are worth seeing. Halifax / Dartmouth are major cities . The port area of Halifax caters to tourists.restaurants, bars,Casino,Jazz ,naval museum etc...Think San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf.

    Thanks Redrider!

I'm plotting it on a map now - we're thinking 10 day trip, doable in that time frame? (We've comfortable with 1000 Km days)
