    Bike cover waterproofing

My Dowco is 2 years old and needs re-water proofing.

Any suggestions as to what's best to treat it???

I have used a spray on product call renuzit with very good results. You might need 2 bottles to soak the whole cover.

Cool. I have a three year old Dowco that I would to have waterproof again.

What is the renuzit product? Is it designed for waterproofing synthetics? Any idea where I can get some (or a similar product)?

Geza Covers has a little info. I use Tectron. Covers, tents, Textile Suits.

Most outdoor stores carry it. Here NY/NJ I've bought it at Campmor and Eastern Mountain Sports and I think I've seen it in the Aerostitch catalog together with all sorts of waterproofing items.

AFAIK, BMW's own covers are permanently waterproof.

Could it be a "pay me now or pay me later" example?
