    Is there anyone in the area who may have used parts for a 1985 K100 RS?

    Most of us..

    use the internet - there are several guys who sell and ship quickly. Beemerboneyard is good, but there are several I've used.

    Use craigslist,ebay and search engines for the bike. You can "google" the bike parts via craigslist and search the entire USA and other locations too. ADVrider.com has a huge flea market that's free. If you have questions, ask!
