    Recognize this GPS mount?

When I bought this bike in Oct ÔÇÿ07 this GPS Mount was attached. ItÔÇÖs served me well , but...
With the addition of the tank bag, as I fill it up, IÔÇÖm seeing less of the GPS from my normal riding position.
Seeing as IÔÇÖm going to the MOA and RA rallyÔÇÖs, and the Heritage Ride in between, IÔÇÖll be filling the BMW Tank Bag, and even adding layers to it.
    Your thoughts?
In order to move it forward and higher IÔÇÖd need extended ÔÇ£StalksÔÇØ with longer bolts to get it to where I can still reach the ignition key.
If you have a better idea IÔÇÖd love to hear it.
    ItÔÇÖs a 2004 1150RS. The GPS is a Zumo 550.

I've discussed it with Cycle Gadgets. Chris says it's not one of theirs as far as he knows.
He has a ram mount to go on the clutch reservoir.
Does anyone recognize this mount? To go with Chris' recommendation, I'd probably have to rewire the GPS and I'm hesitant to do that prior to a long ride.
I would love to hear other suggestions or input on the original manufacturer...

That has the unmistakeable finish of a gadget guy mount.

Outstanding product and service - I am not affiliated with him but have used his products on all my bikes.

Check out his website and give hima call if you want to change something - he can guide you on what you need.

He has helped my quite a bit with my wife's mount for her R ST.

Yep, I recognize it. Here's mine on an '03 1150RS.

It is from Gadget Guy as Semper_fi said. The extension tubes on mine are 1.5" tall and I can see the screen fine with a full tank bag.

One thing you may want to do is to loosen the highlighted pink and green bolts and "flip" the clamp 180 degrees. see picture below

The other thing you can do is get a longer spacer (yellow highlight) (from gadget guy) with longer bolts and that will bring up the mount.

This is assuming you have enough slack in your cables of course

As to the reservoir mounted gps mount - i am not a big fan - I like the gps in my line of sight.

This is a purely personal preference.

    Problem solved, I think.

    Talked to Genna,
    I've ordered this extension:
    http://www.gadgetguy.net/Catalog/14/ExtensionJoints.htm
I believe this will solve the problem or, at least, give me more options.

    Thanx to all,
    t.
