The tank bag has 4 draws strings inside. Just pull the draw stings up to make the inside form a water proof pouch.
Place on shelf in storage and forget that you own it while meanwhile placing all water sensitive items in ziplock bags inside the tankbag.
P.S., Do the same with any water sensitive item in your jacket pockets -or you will be it the market for a new cell phone when you get home.You are free to ask how I know these things.
What the kid said, don't trust those cinch up inner liners. They may be water resistant but definitely not waterproof.
