Got my RT last month (second BMW) and I'm thinking about doing the Ride for the Heart SS1000. Anyone else doing that ride? If so, what do you think of the route? http://www.ridefortheheart.com/event_calendar.htm Doesn't look like the fastest way to do a SS but it does look scenic.

Heidi and I did a Ride for the Heart a couple of years ago. We did a BBG1500. Heidi still attends one of the rides each year. You will find the rides are very enjoyable and to aquire a SS1000, very doable.

You will ejnoy the people involved, the food at the various checkpoints, and the ride itself.
