Battery Cover Decals

I'm in the process of semi-restoring a 1976 R75/6. Right now I am having the tank, fenders, and battery covers repainted the original black w/ white pinstripes. But, what are the correct 750cc decals that go on the battery side covers.....red & gold, or the blue & silver? I see both are available and I can not remember which color is the correct one, although I believe the red & gold is probably correct..

I do not know about a blue/silver. The catalog I have shows a red/silver or red/gold ; both colors are for 750cc '74-'77 model years. Blue/ silver is the correct color for certain '77-'80 1000 cc models only, and is the only time those two colors in that combination were used. At least that is what my catalog shows.

46 63 1 233 327 is BMW part no. for red/silver.
46 63 1 236 082 for red/gold.

The part # I find listed for the 900cc is46 63 1 233 328.

Repro decals like these are on Fleabay and fairly inexpensive compared to original.
