Yes, there is a dinner this Wednesday, May 18, but I can't be there. My daughter has a program at her school and I am going to go to that. I don't think it will be over in time for a visit to the Taproom. So I guess I will just have to see everyone next month, in June! Is it almost June? Did I miss spring?

Are F bike riders welcome too? I am looking at an k100 as a touring option at the moment but have yet to purchase it. I would love to talk to some K owners regarding the model.

F bikes are most certainly welcome! Any and all BMW's are what we are after. There are a few different folks that show up that know a lot about older airheads and some K bikes. We don't always get large crowds, but there are usually a constant crew that shows up and I am sure someone would know someone that can help you out in the future with any K bike questions.

Books mark or watch this thread so you will get emails when there is activity. I usually update the thread the weekend before the dinner which is always the third Wed.

Brian, how has turnout been? I just discovered this (don't ask why) and am interested in getting and meeting some more BMW riders in Portland.

Turn out is hit and miss. Some times we have 10+ people that ride a variety of BMW bikes, other times it has been a much smaller, intimate affair (read 2 people or so) show up and we chat for a while and then go. Most of the time it seems to about 5 or so. It can be a diverse crowd with some very knowledgeable airhead folks, some adventurous oilhead folks, some K bike riders etc.

Please feel free to stop by next month if you would like, the more the merrier. If you get there before 6, it's happy hour and pretty good prices on some good food. This last Wed they stuck tight to the 6 cut off though, so we all missed it since we were late. Months past, they have been a bit more loose about it, but oh well, good food either way.
