This is about 2 miles from my house. It was GM Moraine assembly plant, where they
made Trailblazers up until last December. Now it is just acres of abandoned buildings
    and empty parking lots.

If I forgot to scroll up what make you think that I'd remember to scroll down?

My Nanny's trailer after she passed away and a meth cook and party squatters moved in. The most random stuff was in there and the place was gutted, stripped and sagging. Didn't take long to get in this condition. The pix are from last April and I've continued taking pix as the trailer park finally started tearing it down. A tree grew through the hitch and the trailer was in such bad shape they literally took it apart. All that's left is the chassis and the rotten tires. Spent alot of time in this place growing up and Sunday dinners.

    End of an Era

Southern Iowa has been particularly impacted by the many changes to agricultural in the modern era as the family farm has become obsolete and corporate farming has taken over.
