    "clip-on's"

What exactly do they do to handlebars?

Do barbacks and risers do the same thing?

Are clip-on's also available for BMW's?

Clip-ons do kind of the opposite of bar backs/risers: they lower the bars, for a racier body position on the bike. Clip-ons are very short, stuby individual bars that clamp to the fork tubes between the two triple clamps.

This seems to be an Italian bike thing.
No wonder Italians have big wrists. And all from putting all that constant pressure on their hand and wrists.

Just about every sport bike has them, including some beemers.
