Currently watching Paul McCartney receive the Gershwin Prize at the White House on YouTube. He's singling Let It Be as I type. One of my favorite songs in my life.
Quick story here, I graduated high school in 1972. Our Class of 1970 wanted to have Let It Be as their class song for graduation but the school forbid it. Something about pot if you remember that era. Now here I am 43 years later listening to it be played in the White House.
