    Cool Jodie Manross.

    http://www.jodiemanross.com/musicx.html

Her voice is incredible and her songs come from her beautiful soul. I have known Jodie for some time, and only recently heard her wonderful music. WOW!!! You can find her singing in many local venues, and across the nation from time to time. Her music is on iTunes and Amazon's MP3 store. She is an incredible person, brilliant acupuncturist , and a very wonderful musician.

    Nathan:

I love these two, but deliberately didn't put up any links to them here...

But now that you started it, here's one of my favourites:

They've been getting a lot of ink lately, in the Wall Street Journal, and other media, as they try to transition to mainstream material. The head of Warner's has been advising them. I hope this will work for them, because there is always the risk of alienating the loyal fan base.

Oh, and you're still young enough to be a hipster.

Hey, why not? This thread isn't strictly limited to vaguely-country, or easy-listening, artists as the past few pages suggests. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
