This once again is a great DIY from Luis Roth (aka Semper_Fi). He described it thusly:
"This procedure has the front nacelle removal and also suggestions for running a wiring harness for a GPS or any other electrical device that you would want to have mounted on the dashboard."
That said - you are responsible for any work you do on your bike. Neither the BMW-MOA or Luis Roth suggest you do this work, you are solely responsible for doing it safely and correctly.
