You do know that this is one of those hot topics, like what is the best oil. I have heard lots of good things about Gel batteries, but that is hear say.

I love my Panasonic AGM battery. It doesn't discharge nearly as fast as a regular flooded battery does. This battery and a police model voltage regulator have cured all of my charging woes. I can't even remember the last time I had to put a charger on my battery.

WVCajun: Use the search feature here for a LOT of information and opinions on batteries. There is a lot of good stuff and facts that back up many likes and dislikes about the various battery options available. I'm a "gel man" myself. The only way to go as far as I'm concerned but to each his own.
