    R 1200 Rt Cover

I'm looking for a lite weight cover to use while touring. It must cover the cases, something that packs small. I'm not looking for lond term storage just something thats easy to put on and take off while on the road. Can anyone recommend a brand and a model ?

Check the large-size motorcycle cover at WalMart.

    E-Z Touring covers. http://eztouring.com/products.htm

I use their Taveller style on my 1200 RT and leave the 40L top case on every night. Fits real nice, super light, and goes on and off in seconds. Just squish it down in the morning and toss it in your top case. Nice people to deal with and they advertise in our ON magazine. Comes in color choices as well.

    cheap motorcycle cover

I found a cover online at Costco; go to http://www.costco.com and do a search for motorcycle. The cost is $30 with free shipping. I haven't received mine yet. Once I have it I'll post again.

    Thumbs up +1 for UltraGuard

I have a large cover for winter storage.

But for touring, I carry an UltraGuard Cover.

It's a 1/2 cover that I can apply to the bike immediately - nothing touches the hot engine. Soft inner panel in the windshield area.

It takes up less space that a full cover, and has elastic cords that secure it to the bike on both sides, to still be there in the morning after a night of brisk winds.

Best cover for the price is the Nelson Rigg! I was looking for a small travel cover, did the reasearch and found the NR cover. All the other covers were in the $100 range, the NR is a nice cover at half the price. Works with the 49L topcase and covers to the top of the side bags, without the top box it will cover the side cases. The UV2000 XL is what you need.

    Ditto

Ditto on the Nelson-Rigg. I bought the same model for the trip to Gillette and it was perfect!
