Yep, I had the same experience when I asked about the the Roger Babson monument. I eventually met a guy who had worked for Babson when he was a kid. Babson at one time even claimed to have had Isaac Newton's bedroom furniture.
New Boston is a lovely town, but there is a touch of the x-files going on there. It's one of the few places I know of where two fighter planes crashed on the same day. The only guy I know who was every catapulted from a cherry picker truck lives there too.
