    Internet archiving questions

Ok, so, I've been snooping around archive.org, and the few times I've got it to actually work right, I haven't found what I know was out there in internetland.

It seems like it only lists pages that are/were linked to/from.

I am looking for a very specific page that I know was on this one domain of mine, and I think I remember the full URL to the index page. Problem is, it wasn't linked to/from anywhere else.

So, is there a way to search an archive(d) FTP?

(I've tried searching "ftp://" to find the remains of that page on the original domain through archive.org, but it just messes it up, and only allows "http://". Ugh.)

Or, is there a better archiving service?

    Yeah, that's what archive.org uses.
