Thank you all. I am hoping it will still be wonderful after Christmas.

I also wish the same to all of you and yours for a beautiful Christmas.
She was a pistol tonight, she seems fairly happy lately.
Also, the Neurologist told us to lower the dose of seizure meds, which is a good sign in my book.
We have discontinued all supplements, and she seems fine. When she first was taking them, we saw differences when we stopped.
Now there appears no change, and we want to let her body try to heal itself, as much as possible.

    Echoing what mfifer said,

You and your wife have been handed a plate full, and you both have stepped up to the challenge. You weren't given much choice in the matter, but kudos to you both for handling it as well as you have.

I'm so glad Rachael is showing some improvement. Keep up the good work!

    Thank you.
The veneer of "holding up" is very thin at times, but it did hold.
Just like on a long trip, I have been on reserve a few times, and even ran out but was given fuel by friends.

Thank you, we will continue to keep our eye on the prize.
I was talking to my wife last night. Rachael seems too complacent, and I wanted to motivate her a bit. I thought it might be a good idea to get a powered chair, and let her ride around on it in the basement. It will force her to look and use her hands, and we can check one out from Katies Closet.
