Took a short ride today from Jax, FL to Weelaka, FL to visit a friend. Traveled 9A to I-295, to Rt 13, down to Hastings, 207 over to Rt 17, and south to Weelaka. Just a beautiful sunny day with great views of the St Johns River. Rt 13 is a scenic 2 lane road that runs down the eastern side of the river. Trees line the road along most of Rt 13 down to RT 16 but gorgeous homes and the river are quite visible making for an enjoyable ride. Short trips like this are whetting my appetite for longer rides up in Tenn and the Carolinas. Ride Safe
