Well, this world might be getting runned over by gadgets... personally, I don't want to take out my SD card everytime I take a picture!... and I do know where in the world I am when I take a picture!!! They should have thought, for those interested about a cord plugged into the camera that will record that data while...
Maybe useful for researchers?... Ah! Rallies maybe...

Some cameras have been announced that will do the geo-tagging for you. Google Earth/Panoramio is one place to share the images.

Looking at the directions you dont do it everytime you take a pic. Just when you get home and are going to load them to your computer. I like the idea because I upload a lot of my pics to Panoramio.
