M1ka, I didn't know that about NYC HOV lanes.. On the other hand I'm not sure I know of any NY city lanes that I might frequent! I've used the LIE HOV without any hassle. Tessler, how about some help here.. Once, while waiting in Lincoln Tunnel traffic I was asked by a Port of Authority Uniform why I wasn't using the HOV lane provided.. Since that day I have used it with no problem.. And I get a discount on tolls with ez pass.

I don't commute, so it's really not an issue for me. I live in the city, I work in the city and on the rare occasion that I get out of the city on a weekday I don't think I even notice HOV lanes (I'm aware that they're on the LIE, however that's a road I use maybe once a year, and at that on a weekend).

Tessler come up for the Red Socks / Yankees game - uses the HOV lanes then - I'm sure Bubba knows his way back to Boston.
