Our forecast was for cloudy skies but I was encouraged by relatively light cloud cover late in the evening..... The high clouds provided a nice neutral density filter

Nice conjunction from Tuesday March 1 this year of the crescent moon and Venus picture is a bit pixelated due to the conversion to a web friendly size but the raw image is really sharp gonna have to print this one!
Around this time of year, each morning and evening a huge flock of black birds will fly over our place and roost in the tree line just behind the houses across the street that back onto the creek/wildlife reserve and spend 10-15 minutes cawing and chattering up a storm, then they all fly off as if on cue. fun to watch and we can hear them even inside the house.
