Thanks. While I'm at it...is Bob's the best place to send final drive for rebuild? Bike's been sitting in my garage for ten years and I can get everything in running order but the final drive's too much for me to handle. I know rear seal is bad 'cause it's leaked all over garage floor. Bike has 29,000 and is in good shape but has just been sitting there.
For my money, Hansen's in Oregon (http://www.hansensmc.com/) is probably the best there is. But, others like Ted Porter in the bay area (http://www.beemershop.com) or Tom Cutter (http://rubberchickenracinggarage.com/) do fine work as well. Tom is in Eastern PA, a bit closer to you. I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with Bob's BMW...not sure if they do it in-house or farm it out, though. Max BMW in New Hampshire (http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/) is a BMW Heritage Service Center, the only place that is currently sanctioned by BMW to perform vintage work.

Ordering bunch of parts for /5. Is Bob's the best place to go cheapest-wise?
While I like Bob's a lot and get most of my parts there, I'd be surprised if it was the most economical place to buy parts.
