If you're gonna criticize my lack of judgment or lack of sense then you should first be advising me to not be steering with one hand while video recording with the other. I was proud of myself for not running that tractor-trailer off the road.

But seriously, I usually favor the left tire track while constantly evaluating the road condition. The lane is mine, pick the best of it.

for me, in my part of the countrry, the center of a lane lane is alwasy the part that has stanindg water, or ice, mud,or road oil, oil no tnecesarily from cars/trucks but from the tar itself.
however , if the weather ic clear, it can be the smoothest part of the road, as the tire track lanes from cars can be washboarded, and even grooved from snow chains and studded tires

But seriously I can't wait for the day I get to go explore on this bad boy. After 3 months of cleaning, paint and rebuild I am ready to ride! Hopefully someday I will find a way for the pooch to come along.

I've owned this bike for 32 years and is still one of my favorite rides. It came with a Windjammer fairing, then it went Sport with Euro bars and even had a sidecar that
one time but this is how it belongs.

Only I would modify my original comment because there were no side covers in 1970.
