yep.. painted them. Used Duplicolor satin black.. Powdercoat is pretty much non reversable, who knows if the one day future owner of this bike.. me or some other lucky soul might want to make it "stock" one day.. But I like it black. The silver paint, with sliver wheels has too little contrast.
Here is my 1977 R100/7, fresh from 5 months in a local shop. Also know as Frankenbike...flat top later model carbs, later year snowflakes, earlier year front end, this and that. custom seat. unique wiring (of course).
