    Taking a break

We needed a break, does not get any better than a smooth riding/running airhead.

My wife and I own a more battered, unrestored version of this very bike. Same color, same outfiting. My all time favorite, and we campaign it vigorously. These are the best, simplest of all airheads and I love them.

I like the looks of your bike. Nice /6 with some good mix of classic BMW black, black rims, polished aluminum, solo seat. Old school cool; your ready for Bike Nite.

I have a buddy with an R69S. We went to a large vintage bike show together and decided that the parking lot was the wrong place for our bikes. THe show was great. Billy Joel came incognito on his Moto Guzzi and sat it for a few sets with the band. No one know it was him singing since they weren't doing his songs.

might have battery covers and a title saying RT, but not an RT fairing at all,
if a ttiled RT it will ( or most likely has) have a final drive ratio rated to pull the extra weight and accelerate faster, but at the sacrafice of higher engine rpm and lower mpg at crusing speed

other than that, very nice looking bike, very nice

So with the S fairing that should make it a Hot Rod!

My favorite rides: 76 R90/6 and 93 R100R Legend. Unfortunately they are asleep in the garage for a little while longer as it's finally Mar the 'Spring' month

Just landed this bike, a 1979 BMW R100RT. That's my brother behind bike. He found it under a tarp in a nearby city.

    Talking 1981 restored

This is my 1981 I found under a tarp two months ago, it sat under a car port for six years. After two months of work it is now ready for the road again, the paint is original.

Monthly hang-out for a couple of hours with a few airheads attending. I went last month(my first). Next week I should be on my r100.

    Beautiful moto!
