Your R80 ST is awesome! It looks brand new. How many miles?
    92 K75s (never sell), 97 F650st (sold), 04 R1100s (now owned by a deer), and about 10 others

Don't you remember the National in Wisconsin? There's a whole network of roads that are deemed "rustic" and marked as such.

No wasn't there. I was under impression that rustic might be a little narrower- there are many where it gets tight for 2 full size pickups to pass, nor do they have painted lines.

I'm guessing that OrbitAngel didn't post a "Rustic Road" though he has been on many. I found some in the southwest corner that had the R number vandalized but I took the picture anyway.
My photo is no where near as good as Pat's but this is a rustic road:

... which turned into this ...0925101054a

... which turned into this ... Illinois corn on your right, Wisconsin beans on your left, State Line Road.0925101312a

I had a hard time running behind the RT to get these pictures .. good thing Toad stopped once in awhile so that I could get these shots.

    Really good photography, Pat.

Hey, here is an idea! What if we went for our Rustic Road certificate and posted all the adventures in either 'Regional Midwest' or 'Ride Reports'?

It'll be in the 60's this weekend ... perfect riding temperature!!!!

We could have a patch by the end of the day. Come on.

We could start a club and call it the 'Red Ferrings'. Fairings ... sounds like herrings ... get it?

    I prefer roads that curve.

My '71 R75/5 a couple of days ago. Beautiful time of year in Upstate NY.

ride what you've got; enjoy the road you're on!
