    vspace.vassar.edu

Can any of the technical webmaster types explain something to me. When I open a thread. down in the status bar I sometimes get "transfering data from vspace.vassar.edu", or something similar, then www.bmwmoa.org or something similar.

So why am I getting something on the BMW MOA web site from Vassar - or are some coeds just extraordinarily interested in my web use; or is somebody doing scholarly research re the MOA site; or what?

It looks like it's a file sharing site.

It's like an academic smugmug, except it's on steroids with file size and type, which means my huge GIS files are accommodated too.
    It's all academic, you see?

    Thanks everybody.

I just happened to notice, and really wondered what was happening.
