Props to CycleNutz, stuff for my RT cool and service great
I wanted to give props to the proprietor of CycleNutz. After repeated
attempts on email to purchase farkles for my new ride from local
sources I started purchasing online and farkled it up nicely with some
projects still waiting for my attention (electrical). I got a number
of spiffy items to refill my quiver of useful items from them and some
electrical bits.
When I ordered there was a timely notice on their web site informing
customers that the owner was away competing in the Iron Butt Rally.
As too many businesses regard their web presence as a static item I
thought this was nice. It explained that orders would be processed
and ship normally but questions would be delayed in being answered by
a week or more. Cool with me... I identified the goodies from the
well laid out web site and ordered. My order arrived in a very timely
manner and was fastidiously packed. Once gain cool.
I put items in my useful stuff bag, mounted the mounts, and so forth
and sketched out my plan for the wiring changes but didn't start that
bit. The next day I get a call from the owner who has return from the
IBR and reviewed all the orders to check for any errors. He has
unfortunately identified that the bit I ordered to tap my parking
lights as the input for the relay controlling my aftermarket fuse box
is a version a little too short for the RT. He apologizes and tells
me he has already packed a box with the one I should have an a post
paid sticker to return the incorrect one in the same box. This was
sent overnight and I had it the next morning before I left for work
even though I told him I had no intention of performing this work for
the next week or so. Stunned and pleased I moved him to the top of my
vendor list.
I spend cash with some abandon but I am not an easy guy to please...
http://www.cyclenutz.com is a good place.
