    R1200RT cold running problem

    My 07 R1200RT with 11500 kms has a minor problem when I start the engine for the first time in the morning (engine is cold). It starts and idles fine. But if I try to open the throttle, it will die unless I give it very small amounts of throttle. If I shut it down and restart it, everything is fine and it responds normally to throttle openings. Is this normal behavior?

    I have an 06 R1200RT with 29000 miles on it. Mine has never done that. Have your dealer check it out, may just be something minor.

    Ditto for my '05 R1200RT. No problems with cold morning starts. See dealer!
