Gotta agree with you tourunigo. I can set out in my garage and look at my '71 R50/5 endlessly. My first bike. The only thing better is to start it up and take it for a ride. A fine cigar and drink is a nice addition. Many good memories.

The bike I brought home was a '84 R100 escort bike. Basically a police bike.

ya, mine had a bit of an association with the police ..... but it didn't involve an escort style relationship - Bob

2 weeks ago it was cold, bleak and rainy, then we had a nice day, now it's hot, muggy and rainy. Springtime on Ohio, blink and you'll miss it.

    That's nothing...
The thing about traveling is, you never want it to end and you can't wait to get home.

"Tink" must be short for "Tinker", and if you name a bike Tinker, you can't really expect nothing but to tinker.

Thanks for pointing that out to me!! It's my "tinker toy". When I bought it I thought "baby" was going to work.....but.....I seem to tinker with this or that...adding this, changing that......tinker toy just seemed appropriate.

I'd say "you sound like an airhead", but you might think I mean something derogatory.

As an airhead owner, I understand tinkering. Nothing, except riding, is better.

I hear blondes have more fun. It's just something I've heard for years. There may be something to it or not.
