When I was in Atlanta I worked on the investment trading desk of a major bank, and we used to get the Nigerian Letter all the time, and some other types of phone scams from people just trying to get their hands on our letterhead so they could go rip people off with it. I finally got sick of one persistent guy, and kept him on the line while I connected a conference call to the local FBI office. They got him.
