    R1200 RT fuel tank

When the onboard computer states that there are 15 miles to empty and the fuel gauge reads empty, I am only able to put 5.2 gallons of fuel in the 7.1 gallon tank. This has happened twice, new bike. The dealer has no explanation. I have tried filling the tank, on the centerstand and sidestand. Does anybody have a solution or an explanation?

Search this forum for the thread entitled

Basically, when the BC reads 0 miles left, you still have around 2 gallons left. This can be adjusted by your dealer, but it's a pretty involved procedure.

Sorry, but I don't know how to link directly to the thread.
