I recently bought a Vanson Manx jacket and finally tried it out yesterday.
Later in the day my wife pointed out that on my right elbow (inside) were red "scratch marks"about 2" long.
I am not alergic to leather, was wearing a short sleeve shirt, and cannot guess where the marks came from.
Any thoughts???
I ride BMW's because the bikes, and the people fit my lifestyle. Besides its real easy to spell.

Isn't a "Manx" a type of cat? Don't cats scratch? Aren't some people allergic to cats?
'Nuff said.
I would bet the scratches will go away once the jacket breaks in. Is there a rough edge of a seam or something inside the jacket that's doing it?
