A couple sets of tires. Annually.

Maybe this is the reason Wisconsin leads the mileage contest all the time?

    History of roads

Almost in the neighborhood (maps are so small and the world is so big*), is a historian, Bruce Seely (Mich Tech), who is pretty knowledgeable about roads. He's an excellent speaker. I think some slides from a talk are here. It's not coming up right now, but it looks like it might at some point.

Rustic Roads - get your patch at the rally

It isn't written in stone yet, but I have been in talks with Ron Thompson at the State of Wisconsin (fellow BMW rider and MOA member)

He is trying to find a way to have one of his staff or maybe even himself at the rally to verify pictures and to hand out the patches.

    Wouldn't that just ROCK?

Stay tuned for news as it develops.

Sometimes it's the bend in the road that makes life worth the ride.

    Thumbs up Some Rustic Roads

When a Wisconsin Biker says they are going to Holy Hill, They not only mean they will be going up to the Historical Church, but that they will be riding the curvy Wisconsin Rustic Roads that network around the Church.

This Picture of 1880 Saint Mathew Church was taken about 4 miles south of Holy Hill on Saint Augustine Road, Rustic Road #33.
