Yeah, my wife wasn't too fond of the aromas I dragged into the house myself

It was SO COOL being able to join your party by phone for a bit last night from our gathering in New Glarus! It sounded like you were having a good time. Great idea Paul.

    New York state of mind.....

Some folks like to get away, take a holiday from the neighborhood
Hop a flight to miami beach or hollywood.
Im taking a greyhound on the hudson river line-
Im in a new york state of mind.

I seen all the movie stars in their fancy cars and their limousines,
Been high in the rockies under the evergreens,
But I know what Im needing and I dont want to waste more time-
Im in a new york state of mind.

It was so easy living day by day
Out of touch with the rhythm and the blues,
But now I need a little give and take,
The new york times, the daily news...

It's the boys at O'Farrells's and the Bass flowed smooth
The Javits, the bikes and the 'MOA sign
El Quijote, the Chelsea and the Westside booze
I'm in a New York state of mind.

It comes down to reality-and its fine with me cause Ive let it slide,
Dont care if its chinatown or riverside,
I dont have any reasons, Ive left them all behind-
Im in a new york state of mind.

Paul, Tessler, Red Ryder and Belquar
That crazy lady and Vince at the bar
Bubba, Randall and laughing all the time
I'm in a New York state of mind

Im just taking a greyhound on the hudson river line-
cause Im in a new york state of mind.

Thanks guys, this memory is a keeper....

PS My wife loved the paella......

Outstanding food from the succulent chowder to the seared tenderloin tips to the melt-tender pulpo to the strawberry cheesecake, a comedy queen doing the fandango on the sidewalk, it was a truly fantastic night with exquisite company. Thank you all!

    RandallIsland Makes History.

Pictured here is RandallIsland confering with Boxergrrlie, Miss Adventure, in New Glarus. This Gotham to Glarus is a first for "Rally" to "Rally" Conference Calling.

Hope the Forum will see more of this kind of communication expanding the MOA personal contacts before the family gathering in Wisconsin.

And this one was earlier described as a cross between a Harley and an LT. It is the new Victory Vision. Website says it will be ready in the fall of 2007 - just in time to put into winter storage.

Something more down to earth - the three wheel scooter. It had lots of storage under the seat and looked like it might be a real winner in the first scooter category. It was hard to tip over.

That Victory looks like it's trying to swallow its front wheel.

    The vintage display looks fantastic!

I've been wanting to see a picture of the Victory, thanks for posting it. I don't know if I like it - from pictures I would say 'no' but I will withhold forming an opinion until I see one in person.

The new Connie looks great though. It will be interesting to see how it does in the market.

    What a great day!

my first big cycle show, impressive displays not only from the big names in motorcycling, but also from the finest in etched crystal, pewter dragons, wolf t-shirts and skull necklaces the display from bmw was great, all the new bikes were there and i was even able to talk to Nate Kern for a bit. i also enjoyed the offerings from ducati, mv augusta and even ural had a neat setup, mostly involving wooden crates.

(i apologize for the small size, didn't realize the camera was set that way)

Breeze looks like he's ready to roll:

Tessler trying a cruiser from korea on for size:

A representative of the mass state police was in attendance:

MV Augusta had a great display of their vintage bikes, pretty boxy 750 America w/brown suede seat:

trouble locating your exhaust, when all else fails just stick them anywhere (79 2 stroke something or other):

After the show we went over to dinner in chelsea. i got an excellent steak, although it seemed pots of rice and seafood were the preferred meal selection of most. i really wish i liked seafood, some of it looks so tasty. I'll stop talking about the food, i didn't take any pictures of it and that's just mean. Paul, our unofficial leader for the gig, took some time to present swag before the conclusion of dinner as red rider looks on:

Some headed home after dinner, some of us continued the evening's festivities. Vince and Ray from the MOA office came by and joined us in the revelry which continued on till 10 o'clock or so at which point i headed south to the east village to meet up with some friends. i fell asleep at 7:12 this morning on a hardwood floor

Great day, met a bunch of new people and saw friends and riding buddies i hadn't seen in quite some time, this should definitely become an annual event

    also,

did you find my lighter vince
