    Morbidelli V8

I noticed that at the Pro Italia meet in Glendale last August, somebody brought a Morbidelli V8 and that it appears to have plates on it. Since this is a prototype, and there are only 4 in the U.S., does anyone know how would you get this registered in California? (assuming it is a California bike). Is there a special category for low production units?

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Did you hear it run? I would love to be behind it as ran through the gears.

Regarding getting it licensed, I imagine that if you had $80,000 to spend on a motorcycle you could have your people find a way to get it licensed.

    morbidelli

Can you imagine what a Remus equipped one would sound like, hard on the pipe at, say, 8000 rpm?

But how do would you get it registered? In Canada, a DOT approval would be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. And they have ways of finding out if you have done an end run registration into the system. In Calgary there were 3 Chesterfield Aprilia's that were picked up and disposed of by the feds.
