Certainly among the best in the US, the Finger Lakes Club will host their rally (usually about 1300 strong) this weekend at Watkins Glen State Park in a secluded bowl, in SW New York State.

My first time back in 6 years (and regretting the interval), I'll be staying at the Seneca Lodge on the way up the hill, but will buy full access and meals pass.

I also wish to visit (read: lead a ride), about an hour north, to the shore of Lake Ontario to photograph Sodus Point and its historical lighthouse http://www.soduspointlighthouse.org/ and Chimney Bluffs, a weird and dramamtic shoreline geological formation
