    Rogue River Camping

Along the Rogue River just west of Grants Pass is a lovely campground near many fantastic roads. I have made reservations at Indian Mary campground for 2 ajoining campsites for Friday and Saturday Sept 15th and 16th. This is a great area to explore. Why don't you join me? If it looks like bunches of people may over run the two camp sites (#39 & #40) then make more reservations. Josephine County requires 2 weeks advance notice for reservations. Their number is 541-474-5385
    See ya.

Bob, sounds like fun but that's the same weekend as the AUTUMN BEEMER BASH, September 15-17, 2006, at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy California.

    Come on down!

I guess I should have quoted Bob in my note I was referring to the camping, not the bash.

    Quincy

That Beemer Bash looks pretty sweet. Lots of great people, the foothills of the North Sierra and roads laid out like noodles in a bowl of spagetti. Then again my original plan of exploring my "back yard" with my wife on board has certain advantages. It looks like two campgrounds will get substituted for a yurt in the same park and we pack light and have a weekend together. Still, if anyone chooses to stop by that would be wonderful.

I bet the Autumn Beemer Bash is fairly rigorous . I don't want to train to hard before the October Fungal Ride.

I think that's your main problem... lack of training.

Bob- I'd join you but I'll be in San Diego (for good) by then!

Burnszilla- Where in CA is this Autumn Beemer Bash (No./So.)? If I can get new head bearings put in my K-bike in time I might have to show up!

Where and when is the fungal ride this year?

Wow, that would have been cool considering I just made that ride Bob. I work a compressed workweek, meaning 12 hour days wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat. All my activities revolve aroung Sun-Tues, my days off. I know you're gonna have fun!

The Beemer Bash is in Quincy Ca. If you look in the back of your MOA magazine in the WhenandWhere section it is #24.

Quite a move! There is a lot to like there. Mt Palomar is a real good road, and look on the map and configure a loop trip through Julian down to the desert in Borrego and back up over the Mts by a different route. The country is different down there, but real nice. I could picture you inviting some friends on a run to Cabo San Lucas in the Baja .................................................. .................................................. ........... Well?

    Bob-
Any and all will always be welcome in San Diego! I'll have to scout around and see what I can find for a "gathering".
