    2004 1150RT idle adjustment

I own a 2004 1150RT and have 5K miles. I noticed that the idle speed has dropped to about 900 RPM which makes it feel like it is barely ticking over and at any moment it will shut off. How can I raise the idle speed a little on this bike?

There is an air screw on the throttle bodies, they're just a small brass screw in it. Backing the screw out will allow more air in and raise the idle but you need to do it the same on both sides otherwise your TB's will be out of synch, best to do it with a twin max or some other tool for synching carbs and TB's.
